The factors involved in THC detoxification with BeFox Detox

The factors involved in THC detoxification with BeFox Detox

The detox duration depends on many factors

In order to experience the cleansing and protective effects of BeFox Detox, you should be aware of a number of factors that all have an influence on the duration of detoxification. After all, we are working with the body's own processes and simply speeding up the elimination process by naturally preventing storage. It is therefore important to understand how your body works and how it deals with the minerals from the capsules. The aim is for the minerals to be stored in the fatty lipids so that there is no more room for THC breakdown substances. In this article, you will learn everything you need to know to ensure optimal THC detoxification.

Let's start with the most important factor: Your diet

Why the nutrition factor is so important has to do with two things: On the one hand, stress, mostly from your diet, can strain your body's detoxification mechanisms, leaving less capacity for THC detoxification. On the other hand, acid-base balance has a big impact on mineral balance, as the body uses minerals to maintain the balance between acids and bases.
We talk about stress throughout this article. At the end, we will also talk about stresses that do not come from the diet. So let's start with the acid-alkaline balance first. Let's start simple: What are acids and bases anyway?

Acids and bases in the human body

Most people probably remember acids and bases from their chemistry lessons. Rather under the names acids and bases. The adjectives for these are acidic and basic/alkaline. They are primarily known for their corrosive effect, but there is a wide spectrum from slightly to strongly acidic and slightly to strongly alkaline. All substances that can be dissolved in water can be divided into these two groups; such a liquid is referred to as a solution. The pH scale used to measure acids and bases ranges from 0-14 and is divided into acidic 0-6, neutral 7 and basic 8-14.

As the human body is largely made up of water, it is hardly surprising that many different solutions, known in this context as milieus, can be found and measured in it. The body has various methods of regulating the pH values of the milieus. It is extremely important that it does this, as most biochemical processes in the body are very sensitive to changes in pH.

It is important to mention that the acid-base balance is still the subject of research! The extent to which nutrition has an influence on this has not yet been conclusively clarified. However, it cannot be denied that minerals play an important role in the body's regulatory systems. They help to neutralize excess acids or bases and support the kidneys in maintaining balance. The main players here are the minerals sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphate. These contribute significantly to keeping the body's pH value in balance and are all contained in BeFox.

Quite a lot of information...

We don't want to go into too much detail here, as that would go beyond the scope of this article. It is important for you to know that minerals play a major role in regulating the acid-base balance. With an unbalanced diet, it can happen that a not inconsiderable proportion of the minerals that you take in via the BeFox capsules are used for regulation. These minerals are then used up, even if they are released again at a later date. They cannot therefore participate directly in the BeFox effect as they are already involved in other bodily processes.

The problem with a disbalance of acids and bases

From our now almost three years of experience in communicating with our customers, we have established what the typical problems are. We therefore speak from our own experience when we say that we have noticed a significant difference in effectiveness depending on whether the diet is more acidic or more alkaline. We have found that the vast majority of our customers eat too many acid-forming foods and that this counteracts the BeFox effect. We have also found that an alkaline diet is the greatest lever for the shortest possible build-up phase and that an extremely acidic diet can even prevent the BeFox effect from occurring!

So what should you eat?

In addition to animal products, cereals and processed foods, typical acidifiers include coffee, alcohol and cigarettes. Typical alkalizers include fruit, vegetables, nuts, herbs and spices.

To give you a better idea of how you can adjust your diet, we recommend, to put it simply, a ratio of around 80 to 20. 80% of the foods you eat are alkalizing and only 20% are acidifying.
Note that your body needs both and that the acidifiers are divided into good and bad ones! A proportion of 20% good acidifiers in combination with 80% alkalizers has proven to be the optimum for the most efficient build-up phase.

Also note that not everyone consumes too many acids and it may well be that your diet already corresponds to our recommendation for the build-up phase - even if this is extremely rare in our experience.

You can find an overview of the most common foods, divided into alkaline formers and good and bad acid formers, in our PDF “The alkaline lifestyle”.

As you can see, a balanced diet is very important for optimal detoxification. But it's not just the acid-alkaline balance that plays a role in THC detoxification with BeFox.

What and how much should you drink?

To achieve the desired effect with BeFox Detox, it is essential that you drink enough water. After all, with BeFox you are undergoing a detoxification cure, i.e. you are dissolving and removing THC breakdown substances from the body. The water serves as a means of transportation.

Ideally, you should drink 2-3 liters throughout the day

The general recommendation of health authorities and health insurance companies ranges from 0.03 to 0.04 liters of water per kg of body weight per day. For our benefit, 0.03 liters has proven to be the best amount so far. So if you weigh 80 kg, you would need to drink 2.4 liters.
This is very important because if you drink too little, your body will not be able to keep up with the elimination of the dissolved waste products. This can lead to the breakdown substances being distributed throughout the body and stored again.

Drink throughout the day, as it is not possible to compensate for a deficit by drinking several liters in a short period of time in the evening, for example. The point is to continuously supply your body with water to ensure even elimination. For the same reason, we recommend distributing the intake of capsules throughout the day during the build-up phase.

Caution: A lot does not always help a lot!

If you now have the idea - and you really wouldn't be the first - that you could simply drink 10 liters of water a day to eliminate the waste products as quickly as possible so that you have a negative test result as soon as possible, we must strongly advise against this! Drinking considerably more than your body needs can have serious health consequences and even lead to death. The opposite of dehydration is also very real and is called hyperhydration. Not only does hyperhydration quickly lead to health problems, but too much water would flush the minerals from the BeFox capsules out of the body before they are absorbed and last but not least, a laboratory test, which usually also tests the creatine content in the urine, would reveal that you have tried to stretch your urine. So stick to the general recommendation and avoid unnecessary risks!

Purity is also important

As well as drinking the right amount, you should also make sure you drink water that is as pure as possible. There are two reasons for this: On the one hand, water acts as a means of transportation and can best perform this task if it is not already filled with other substances and, on the other hand, water can act as an acidifier.
As we explained at the beginning of this article, your diet should not upset your acid-base balance. However, it's not just about what you eat, but also about what you drink. Carbonated water is - as the name suggests - acidifying. Sugar, alcohol and coffee are also acidifying and even a large proportion of teas are acidifying. Flavorings, colorants and all other substances added to water, including tea, fill the water and reduce its transportability.

The calculated daily amount of water refers only to pure water. All other drinks that you drink, such as coffee, which is probably the hardest to give up, or even alkaline drinks such as lemon water with honey or alkalizing teas, should only be drunk as a supplement. This means that all other drinks do not count towards the calculated amount of water!

What you should bear in mind when taking the capsules

In addition to a balanced diet and sufficient pure water, we recommend that you do not take the capsules on an empty stomach. A few customers have reported gastrointestinal disorders, such as abdominal pain or diarrhea, after starting to take the capsules. In many cases, it helps to activate the stomach acid so that the minerals can be better absorbed. To do this, take the capsules with a meal - an apple or banana is sufficient. Don't forget to always wash the capsules down with plenty of water.
You can also start with a smaller amount of capsules and gradually increase the dose to get your stomach used to the minerals.

How bentonite supports your detoxification

We recommend taking bentonite to anyone who wants to start the build-up phase. Bentonite is a volcanic rock that can bind harmful substances very well due to its physical properties. The binding prevents the re-storage and thus helps with the elimination.

As BeFox is not only able to remove THC degradation substances from the fatty tissue, but also all degradation and harmful substances that the body considers less valuable than minerals, it is possible that undesirable side effects may occur. These occur because a large amount of harmful and decomposing substances are suddenly available in the body. Bentonite has been shown to be effective in minimizing possible side effects by binding them.

Bentonite is also very popular beyond our specific area of application, not least because of its low price and ease of use. You can take the clay mineral either in capsule form or dissolved in water. Our recommendation is one capsule or a sip in the morning on an empty stomach during the build-up phase. Remember to drink enough water here too, as bentonite in combination with too little water can lead to constipation.

In addition to bentonite, activated charcoal is also known to support detoxification. However, we advise against taking it because, unlike bentonite, activated charcoal's binding ability is not selective! Activated charcoal can also bind substances our body needs, such as the minerals from BeFox capsules. The bound minerals can no longer be absorbed by the body and therefore do not contribute to the BeFox effect.

Enough about nutrition—what else is important?

Now that we've discussed the factors surrounding eating, drinking, taking medication, and supplementing in detail, we can move on to the other factors.

Body Mass Index as a First Indicator

Since the most common question we receive is "When will I be clean?", we use the body mass index (BMI) as a factor to estimate the duration of detox. Unlike the factors discussed so far in this article, BMI plays only a minor role. After all, BMI isn't something that can be easily changed.

As you may have already seen, we have some estimates of how long the build-up phase lasts depending on the type of user, duration of use, and BMI. We use BMI to determine body fat percentage and thus the potential amount of stored THC breakdown products. If you would like to calculate your BMI, you can find our BMI calculator here.

Body fat and metabolism are crucial

For us, BMI is really nothing more than a first guide. BMI is a controversial measurement because it only roughly compares weight to height, but does not take into account stature, gender, or muscle-to-fat ratio, the latter of which is crucial for the effectiveness of BeFox.
In addition to body fat percentage, metabolism is also important. It determines how quickly bodily processes such as the absorption of minerals or the elimination of THC breakdown products take place.

Keep it simple

Overall, this is only a rough estimate of the detox duration; your BMI is sufficient for that. Precise information wouldn't change the estimate enough to make it worthwhile to measure the individual values. Other factors also come into play. Therefore, the following applies to you: Focus on the factors you can change today!

Mineral Thieves - Sound Cuter Than They Are

There are some activities that deprive your body of particularly large amounts of minerals. These include alcohol consumption, lack of sleep, stress, and sweating. Of course, no one voluntarily suffers from lack of sleep or stress, so we could save ourselves the trouble of advising against them. However, we would also like to draw attention to the details; after all, they are also important and sometimes even the deciding factor.

It's more important to discuss alcohol consumption, exercise, and sauna use: You should avoid alcohol consumption during the build-up phase, as it depletes a lot of minerals. Furthermore, alcohol, as a neurotoxin, represents an additional burden that you should avoid during the build-up phase; after all, you are undergoing a detoxification process. Be aware that every additional toxin, every additional strain on your body, will reduce the effectiveness of THC detoxification!

You should also avoid the stress of saunas, or more precisely, excessive sweating, which causes many minerals to be lost, during this time.

You don't have to give up exercise, though. On the contrary: exercise is beneficial for detoxification, as physical activity stimulates the metabolism and ensures good circulation. During the build-up phase, however, we recommend no more than one hour of exercise per day to avoid depleting too many minerals.

If all of this sounds completely unrealistic to you and you don't think you can implement all these tips, don't worry! We have something else for you...

How to balance your mineral consumption with extra capsules

If you can't avoid all mineral thieves, you still have the option of balancing your excessive mineral consumption by taking additional BeFox capsules.

If you consume alcohol, we recommend taking up to three extra capsules before and three extra capsules after alcoholic beverages.

If you exercise for more than an hour or are very intense, or if you sweat a lot, we recommend taking up to two extra capsules before and two extra capsules after.

These recommendations apply to both the build-up and maintenance phases.

Please note that you should only take extra capsules during mineral-depleting activities and otherwise not exceed the daily intake of nine capsules during the build-up phase and two to four capsules during the maintenance phase!

Other Stressors

We've now discussed almost everything you need to know about these factors. However, it's important to mention that you should avoid consuming other substances during the build-up phase. By this, we don't just mean THC, whose breakdown products you want to eliminate, but also other cannabinoids such as CBD, HHC, and other seemingly THC-free alternatives. These always contain a tiny amount of THC. Although this is very small, it can still be enough to cause a positive THC test!
In addition, the breakdown products of the other cannabinoids also have to be metabolized, excreted, and eliminated. The more other substances have to undergo the same processes as THC, the longer THC detoxification takes. This also applies to substances other than cannabis, which is why we strongly recommend that you do not replace cannabis consumption with other substances such as alcohol.

Since it is also possible to consume while taking BeFox, provided you follow a few rules, you will find all the important information in the third article, "Tests and Other Consumption."

If you're now saying, "I'll never be able to stop using cannabis!" we have some information for you. Check out our article on continued use!

Summary

You've now learned a lot about the factors. Let's quickly summarize the most important points:

  • An unbalanced diet can lead to increased mineral consumption. Pay particular attention to maintaining your acid-base balance.
  • Drinking enough water is essential for detoxification. 0.03 liters of water per kilogram of body weight per day is optimal for the BeFox regimen. The water should be as pure as possible.
  • You should always take the capsules with plenty of water and a meal to prevent possible digestive problems.
  • Starting with a smaller amount of capsules can help your body get used to the minerals.
  • Detoxification can be supported with bentonite.
  • Mineral-depleting activities should be reduced during the build-up phase. Otherwise, extra capsules can compensate for mineral consumption.
  • You should avoid other stressors such as the consumption of CBD, alcohol, or other toxic substances during the build-up phase.
